The Panasonic FV-FLHP20VE1 is the genuine OEM HEPA supply-air filter for the Intelli-Balance™ 200 ERV (FV-20VEC1). It replaces the factory supply filter with a much higher-efficiency HEPA cartridge, helping capture very fine airborne particles before fresh air is distributed through your home.

Maintenance & Filter Schedule

• Inspection interval: Check the Intelli-Balance 200 filters roughly every 90 days, or more often during construction, renovation or wildfire smoke events.
• Cleaning: You can gently vacuum the face of the HEPA filter with a soft brush every 2–3 months to remove surface dust. Do not wash or soak the cartridge.
• Replacement interval: Most homes will replace the supply HEPA filter about every 6 months. Very dusty environments or heavy smoke exposure may justify shorter intervals.
• Other filter in the ERV: Intelli-Balance 200 also includes an exhaust/return filter inside the unit. That filter is typically washable, while this HEPA supply filter is replace-only.
• Filter light reset: After replacing filters and closing the access panel, follow the Intelli-Balance 200 manual to reset the filter indicator via the unit controls or wall control so the reminder light clears.

Choosing Between MERV 8, MERV 13 and HEPA

Intelli-Balance 200 offers three supply filter options so you can balance filtration with static pressure and maintenance:

• MERV 8 (FV-FL0820VE1): Standard protection for most homes; captures dust, lint and larger particles with the lowest resistance.
• MERV 13 (FV-FL1320VE1): High filtration for fine dust, many allergens and smog; a strong choice for most “healthy home” projects.
• HEPA (FV-FLHP20VE1 – this product): Highest filtration level, aimed at homes with serious allergy/smoke concerns that want maximum particle capture from their Intelli-Balance 200.

You can start with MERV 8 or MERV 13 and upgrade to HEPA later, as all three are designed for the Intelli-Balance 200 supply-air track.
