Installation & Compatibility

Valve Type: Requires a Quarter-Turn Ball Valve (Lever Handle).
Note: Not compatible with Gate Valves (round wheel handles).

Installation: Clamps over the valve body using a standard Phillips screwdriver. The robot arm engages the valve handle to turn it physically.

FAQ

Will this fit my 1-inch valve?
Yes. This kit is "Universal" and includes brackets specifically designed to handle larger 1" and 1.25" valves, as well as standard 1/2" and 3/4" pipes.

Can I use this without a hub?
No. You cannot control this device with a phone app unless it is paired to a Z-Wave Hub.

Does it detect leaks?
The robot itself is an actuator (it turns the valve). To detect leaks, you must pair separate Z-Wave leak sensors (like Zooz, Aeotec, or Ring) to your hub and create an automation rule (e.g., "If Leak Detected, Turn On Valve Robot").
