Unlike standard consumer valves, this "RC" (Relay Contact) model is engineered to be triggered by a Hardwired Dry Contact Signal from your Security Alarm Panel or Building Management System (BMS). This ensures the water shutoff is immediate, local, and 100% reliable, regardless of internet status.

Hybrid Architecture: Wired Control + Wi-Fi Visibility

This model features a unique dual-purpose architecture:

• Primary Control (Hardwired): The valve Open/Close action is driven by a physical wire connected to your alarm panel (Honeywell, DSC, ELK, etc.). This is "Cloud-Free" reliability.
• Secondary Status (Wi-Fi): Because this unit is built on the "Just Works" (JW) platform, it can connect to the SmartLife App to send "Valve Closed" push notifications to your phone. (Note: Remote app control is typically disabled or secondary to the hardwired trigger to prevent logic conflicts).
