This "IV" model replaces your main water valve entirely with a Heavy-Duty 1-Inch Stainless Steel Motorized Ball Valve, providing a permanent, leak-proof installation for high-value properties and commercial mechanical rooms.

What happens during a power outage?
The valve stays in its last position. You can manually open/close it by pressing the clutch button on the motor. For automatic operation during outages, a 12V UPS (Battery Backup) is recommended.
