Bulldog Wi-Fi Integrated Smart Water Shutoff Valve System

The EcoNet Controls Bulldog-IV is a professional-grade smart water shutoff system designed to help reduce the risk of water damage by automatically shutting off your main water supply when a leak is detected.

Unlike retrofit models, this is an Integrated Valve (IV) system featuring a heavy-duty 1-inch NPT stainless steel ball valve. It is installed directly inline with your plumbing, replacing your existing manual valve for a clean, permanent, and reliable solution.

How it protects your home

Place the included wireless leak sensors near common risk areas—like the water heater, laundry appliances, under-sink plumbing, or behind toilets. If a sensor detects water, it sends a direct signal to the Bulldog valve to close the main water supply automatically.

  • Automatic shutoff triggered immediately when a paired leak sensor detects water.
  • Wi-Fi connectivity allows for remote monitoring and open/close control via the SmartLife app.
  • Offline Protection: Sensors communicate directly with the valve via local RF (433 MHz), ensuring shutoff works even if your Wi-Fi is down.
  • No dedicated smart-home hub required—works right out of the box.

Important: This system is designed to help reduce the risk of water damage. It does not guarantee prevention of all leaks, flooding, or losses.

Professional installation required

⚠️ Plumbing Work Required
This model includes a 1-inch NPT threaded valve that installs inline on your main water supply. Unlike "clamp-on" Bulldog models, this unit requires pipe cutting and plumbing installation. It is ideal for new construction, renovations, or replacing old, seized valves.

All EVC300-IV kits utilize the same professional 1" valve and Wi-Fi controller. Select your kit based on the number of leak sensors you need:

  • Base Unit (EVC300-IV-WIFI) – Valve and controller only (no sensors).
  • SK3 Kit (EVC300-IV-SK3) – Includes 3 wireless leak sensors.
  • SK6 Kit (EVC300-IV-SK6) – Includes 6 wireless leak sensors.
  • SK9 Kit (EVC300-IV-SK9) – Includes 9 wireless leak sensors.

Coverage guidance:
Start with the SK3 for condos or targeted protection (Water Heater + Laundry + Kitchen). Upgrade to SK6 or SK9 for multi-bathroom homes or maximum peace of mind.

Note: This is an integrated unit. It does not require or include "clamp-on" mounting brackets.

Connectivity & Reliability

App Control: Connects to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for management via the SmartLife / Tuya app. Receive push notifications on your phone whenever the valve closes or a leak is detected.

Power & Battery Backup: The unit is powered by a standard wall outlet. For protection during power outages, an optional Battery Backup (BB3K) is available separately. (This unit does not contain an internal battery).

Important Technical Notes

  • Valve Size: 1-inch NPT Female threads. (Adapters may be required for 1/2" or 3/4" pipes).
  • Network: Requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for app features.
  • Sensors: ELS100 sensors (included in kits) use 433 MHz RF to communicate directly with the controller for offline reliability.
  • Insurance: This active mitigation system may qualify you for home insurance discounts. Check with your provider.
