No. This EVC200 model talks to your Z-Wave Hub. You should use Z-Wave leak sensors (from brands like Zooz, Aeotec, or Fibaro) paired to that same hub to create your shutoff automation rules.
Does this work with Ring Alarm?
Yes, the Bulldog Z-Wave valve is generally recognized as a "Works with Ring" compatible Z-Wave valve. You can include it in the Ring app to shut off water when Ring Flood/Freeze sensors are triggered.
What is the difference between this and the "Clamp-On" version?
The "Clamp-On" (HC2LXL) version fits over your existing valve. This "Integrated" (IV) version replaces your valve with a brand new, professional-grade motorized valve.
