Use the Caseta Smart Hub to connect your Claro Smart Switch to leading smart home platforms — including Alexa, Apple Home, the Google Assistant, Ring, Sonos, and more. The hub does not use Wi-Fi to control your lights, helping keep your network free and your system responsive, even when Wi-Fi goes down.

Features

• Versatile load ratings: Works with up to 5A of LED lighting, 3A of general-purpose fans, or 600W of incandescent loads. Neutral wire required.
• Clear Connect wireless technology: Uses Lutron Clear Connect RF, which doesn't rely on Wi-Fi and delivers ultra-fast, ultra-reliable performance that helps avoid repeat service calls.
• On/off control: Provides simple on/off control of compatible lights or fans in areas where dimming is not required, such as garages, utility spaces, or outdoor porch lights.
• LED indicator light: A subtle LED on the right side of the switch produces a soft glow when the control is active, providing a clean, modern look and easy visibility.
• Smart 3-way flexibility: Create a new 3-way or replace an existing one. Use with a mechanical switch or a DVRF-AS accessory switch to create a 3-way application, or pair with a Pico remote (sold separately) for wireless multi-location control.
• Add a second switch anywhere: Pair with a mountable Pico remote (sold separately) and bracket to add another point of control almost anywhere — no cutting holes or pulling new wire required.
• Familiar Claro design: Lutron's most popular paddle switch design is now smart, so it matches existing Claro switches throughout your home for a consistent aesthetic.
• Smart Away and schedules: With a Caseta Smart Hub (sold separately), enable Smart Away to randomly turn lights on and off so your home looks occupied, and create schedules so lights turn on or off automatically based on your routines.
