FAQ
Will the RE215 work with my Honeywell/Resideo system?
The RE215 is designed for the Honeywell/Resideo-style 345 MHz wireless ecosystem. Confirm your panel/receiver supports 345 MHz before ordering.
Is this a smoke alarm?
No. This is a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm. CO alarms and smoke alarms detect different hazards, and many homes use both.
How often should I test it, and when should I replace it?
Test after installation and weekly thereafter. Replace the CO alarm after approximately 10 years (see “replace by” label).
Note: Always follow the included installation guide and any local requirements. A CO alarm is not a substitute for proper installation and maintenance of fuel-burning appliances and ventilation systems.
